Eijsden Castle

On the offer

Eijsden Castle is a manor house with a castle estate located south of Eijsden, on the banks of the Maas River. Before the current castle was built in 1636, the site was already home to a fortified house known as the Caestertburg. The original builder was Arnold de Lamargelle. The castle long remained in his family, but was later inherited by Count Van Hoensbroek and then came to be owned by Hubert de Geloes. Eijsden is a particularly attractive castle, built in the Maasland Renaissance.
