On the offer
Along with Ravenstein, Megen is one of the two fortified cities in the district of Oss. It was granted city rights in about 1357, is surrounded by green spaces and displays a good deal of religious heritage. The Franciscan monastery at the centre and the St Clare's convent are both still in use. Another feature is the 'Bruurke van Megen' chapel. Many people visit his tomb and leave a note, asking for assistance. The atmospheric city centre with its listed buildings has attracted a growing number of artists and galleries.
