On the offer
The new Rimbaud museum offers a tour that is entirely dedicated to the work and life of “the man with soles of wind” by means of original and modern museography. A museum dedicated to the life and work of Arthur Rimbaud, a poet who was born in Charleville in 1854. An exploration of this genius’s life: photos, letters, family items – and of his work: manuscripts, including the famous “Voyelles”. His exploration of Europe and his ten years spent in Africa are vividly described. The presentation is completed by homages paid by 20th-century artists. Opposite the Arthur Rimbaud Museum, pay a visit to the Maison des Ailleurs as well, a poetic evocation of Arthur Rimbaud’s travels.
Opening times: from 10 a.m. until 12 noon and from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. every day, except Monday
